About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Certified General Real Estate Appraiser to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in valuing a wide range of commercial property types, possess in-depth knowledge of Florida’s real estate market, and maintain the highest standards of accuracy, integrity, and professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Perform independent appraisals of commercial real estate properties, including retail, office, industrial, multifamily, special-use, and land.
  • Collect, verify, and analyze market data including sales, leases, income, expenses, and cost information.
  • Prepare comprehensive written appraisal reports in compliance with USPAP, state regulations, and client requirements.
  • Conduct site inspections, assess property condition, and document key characteristics.
  • Research zoning, permitting, and land use restrictions relevant to property valuation.
  • Provide expert analysis of highest and best use, market trends, and investment potential.
  • Collaborate with clients, attorneys, lenders, accountants, and other stakeholders as needed.
  • Maintain compliance with Florida Real Estate Appraisal Board requirements and continuing education standards.
  • Uphold the highest ethical standards and protect confidential client information.

Requirements

  • Certified General Appraiser license in the State of Florida (required).
  • Bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, economics, or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of commercial real estate appraisal experience.
  • Proficiency in appraisal software (e.g., Argus, CoStar, Excel, appraisal report writing platforms).
  • Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
