Valbridge Property Advisors | Las Vegas | Reno is now accepting applications/resumes for the position of Research Assistant for our Reno location. The Researcher position provides an excellent opportunity for gaining valuable experience with the potential for advancement within the commercial appraisal industry.

The Research Assistant will support licensed commercial appraisers in the appraisal process including: gathering and organizing market data, conducting interviews with real estate market professionals via phone and/or email, writing market analyses, and preparing exhibits such as site plans and maps. Candidates for this position must be able to travel/drive independently to property inspections or verifications (within the Lake Tahoe region, greater Reno/Sparks area, Carson City, and outlying areas). A Researcher has the unique opportunity to learn on the job and to develop a better understanding of the Commercial Real Estate Appraisal Field.

This Research Assistant position is full-time with hourly compensation TBD, based on prior experience. The right candidate will be highly motivated, eager to succeed and strive for excellence in their performance outputs.

Applicants must be detail-oriented, analytical, and extremely organized with an ability to multitask. The position requires excellent communication skills, above average math, writing skills, reading skills, and a professional demeanor. Good telephone etiquette, and the ability to work with minimal supervision are essential. Strong computer skills are also a must (Word, Excel, Outlook).

High School Graduate, College Degree preferred
