Office Manager

Valbridge Property Advisors | San Antonio | Austin is currently seeking an Office Manager. This role is a vital to the organization and requires a candidate that is intelligent, friendly, curious, independent, flexible, hard-working, articulate and is a person of high integrity. This position directly supports the organization by overseeing all office administration & supporting a multi-member management team.


·         Provide clerical and administrative support to management

·         Ensure security, integrity and confidentiality of data


·         Process bi-weekly payroll for all office staff employees

·         Prepare quarterly taxes & work with CPA to create yearly tax return

·         Maintain accounting (both income & expense), including monthly bank statement reconciliation, recording cash receipts and making bank deposits

·         Maintain an orderly accounting filing and reporting system

·         Issue financial statements & invoices

·         Manage collections; communicate with management to ensure payments are received promptly

Administrative Duties

·         Work with administrative team member & serve as their back-up answering phones, typing, etc

·         Responsible for managing office services by ensuring operations and procedures are organized, correspondences are controlled, supplies are kept in stock, etc

·         Maintain vendor contracts

·         Monitor/distribute mail and emails

Human Resources

·         Primary point of contact for office issues for appraisers

·         Enter new hire employee information, changes, etc.

·         Monitor employee benefits program

·         Coordinate with corporate office for health insurance, 401(k), etc

·         Maintain current insurance policies, payments & renewals; provide updates to management

·         Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements, conducting investigations and maintaining records

·         Retains historical human resource records by monitoring a filing and retrieval system and keeping past and current records

·         Develop a relationship with building management & serve as the liaison for our firm

Employment Type

Full-time, Ability to be in the office M-F, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm

·        5+ years of experience in business administration, accounting or related field


·         5+ years of work experience in an administrative/office management role

·         Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills and maintain high level of confidentiality

·         Excellent organizational and time-management skills; multi-task in a fast-paced & deadline-oriented setting

·         Strong attention to detail

·         Proficient in Peachtree & QuickBooks

·         Proficient in Microsoft programs

·         Data entry management and general math skills

·         Ensure that all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines and training programs are followed
