This month’s Valbridge Office Spotlight is showcasing the Kansas City office. This office is a full-service real estate valuation and consulting firm with a solid reputation for professional real estate services. The Kansas City office has six MAIs and three past presidents of the Kansas City Chapter of the Appraisal Institute. This year marks the office’s 40th year in business and we are proud to showcase the up and coming leaders that work in this office.
Meet the team:
Laird Goldsborough, MAI, MRE, Senior Managing Director
Laird is the Senior Managing Director of the VPA | Kansas City office. Laird has been in valuation and advisory services since 1990. He received a Master’s in Real Estate from the University of Denver. His specialties include all aspects of real estate valuation, expert witness support and testimony, appraisal review and consulting. Laird is a state-certified general appraiser in Kansas and Missouri, and a licensed real estate agent in Kansas. He has served as president of the Kansas City Chapter of the Appraisal Institute, is a graduate of the Helzberg Entrepreneurial Mentoring Program, and Leadership Overland Park.
Jason Roos, MAI, Managing Director
Jason is a state Certified General Appraiser, an MAI-designated member of the Appraisal Institute, and a past president of the Appraisal Institute’s Kansas City chapter. He specializes in all aspects of commercial real estate and provides clients with timely, accurate market information.
Daniel Kann, MAI, MSRE, Managing Director – Multifamily Valuation
Daniel received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Northern Iowa in Real Estate Finance and Marketing Management. He recently completed his master’s in Real Estate Finance and Construction Management from the University of Denver. He is a state Certified General Appraiser and an MAI-designated member of the Appraisal Institute. Daniel has specialized in multi-family valuation prior to, during and after the Great Recession. Additionally, he performs due diligence for investors and developers, life insurance companies, lenders and REITs pertaining to all types of multi-family properties.
