The ideal candidate will need to be self-motivated with experience appraising a variety of residential properties. Job Brief

The Certified Residential Appraiser will conduct formal appraisals of real property or land for a variety of clients including banks, mortgage lenders, AMCs, attorneys, municipalities, and individual owners. Candidates will possess sound judgement, excellent time management and organizational skills, have the ability to prioritize assignments and meet deadlines while also being professional, positive, and respectful with clients, property owners, property contacts and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Provide an unbiased, comprehensive, and professional opinion of market value
• Examine all variables that impact the property's value, including but not limited to property sales data and comparable sales
• Comply with USPAP and keep informed of all current regulations, standards, and best practices
• Acute attention to detail

Requirements

• Certified residential appraiser in good standing
• Strong analytical and research skills
• Familiarity with Total appraisal software
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Knowledge and experience searching online to obtain market data for comparative analysis
