Valbridge Property Advisors | Silicon Valley recently worked on a massive project for a Silicon Valley city involving power line improvements. The project involved valuation advisory and the appraisal of partial takes and temporary construction easements affecting 84 properties over a 700-acre area within the city. The city owns the power company which serves the area, a major factor in driving property values up. Land in this market is particularly valuable to data center users, whose primary concerns are the cost of power, the amount of power available, and its reliability.
