Employee background:

After graduating from Texas Tech University, I worked for a State Farm agent for a brief period of time before joining the Coldwell Banker residential team here in Lubbock as a real estate agent. My brother-in-law was (and still is) a commercial agent at Coldwell Banker and after having many conversations with him regarding commercial transactions, I knew I wanted to be on the commercial side of real estate in some form or fashion.

What is your title and what do you do at Valbridge?

My title is Analyst as I am currently an Appraiser Trainee. I am a producer and work on a number of property types.

How did you become a part of Valbridge?

The director of our local office, Mark Luna, worked closely with my brother-in-law and I had expressed interest in the commercial side of real estate. Mark was looking to expand, and I happened to be in the right place at the right time.

What are your specialty areas?

I most specifically work on retail, office, and industrial property types.

What are some of the most interesting projects you've worked on at Valbridge?

I was fortunate to be able to complete an appraisal of the Buddy Holly Hall of Performing Arts and Sciences. The facility contains over 220,000 square feet and cost more than $155 million to complete.

What do you like most about working at Valbridge?

The best thing about working at Valbridge is the vast ocean of knowledge that you are connected to. If I have a tough or challenging assignment, there is definitely someone in the Valbridge family that can lead me in the right way.
