Founded in 1987, Valbridge Property Advisors | Kentucky is among the largest and most experienced commercial appraisal firms in the region, with five appraisers holding the MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute. With offices in Louisville, Lexington and Cincinnati, our appraisers can handle a wide spectrum of property types and competently advise clients.

Our areas of appraisal expertise include all multi-family, commercial, industrial, office, and institutional property types, as well as special purpose properties and right-of-way assignments. Areas of specialty include affordable housing, hospitality, craft breweries and distilleries, and mines and minerals. David A. Donan, MAI

David Donan is a Senior Managing Director and has more than 25 years of experience in a variety of appraisal and consulting assignments for lenders, developers, property owners, government agencies and attorneys. David appraises a wide variety of property types including industrial, office, retail and multi-family with a focus on special use and complex assignments. He also has significant experience in valuing a wide variety of mineral rights. David is an MAI designated member of the Appraisal Institute and was a past President of the Kentucky Chapter of the Appraisal Institute.

Jonathan S. Beery, MAI

John Beery is a Senior Managing Director and has more than 19 years of experience in a variety of appraisal and consulting assignments for lenders, developers, property owners, government agencies and attorneys. John has appraised most major property types and specializes in multi-family valuation and market analysis including various affordable housing types and mixed-use projects. He has testified as an expert witness for affordable housing valuation in front of the Kentucky State Board of Assessment Appeals. John is an MAI designated member of the Appraisal Institute and currently serves as the President of the Kentucky Chapter of the Appraisal Institute.

Ryan Cloern

Ryan Cloern is a Senior Managing Director and has been performing valuation and consulting services for over 16 years. He is a Certified General Real Property Appraiser specializing in conventional and affordable multi-family housing appraisals and market studies including Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC), various types of HUD properties, Rural Development (RD), Multi-family Accelerated Processing (MAP), and Mark-to-Market (M2M) programs. Ryan is licensed in Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, and Tennessee and has valuation experience in various other asset classes including senior housing, retail, and industrial properties.

Jennifer Cundiff

Jennifer Cundiff is a Senior Managing Director and has more than 17 years of commercial appraisal and consulting experience. She appraises a wide variety of property types including industrial, office, and multi-family with a focus on retail properties including shopping centers, auto dealerships, restaurants, net lease properties and convenience stores. Jennifer is a certified general appraiser in Kentucky, Indiana, and Ohio.

David R. Hogan, MAI, AI-GRS

David Hogan, a former principle, and current Managing Director, has more than 40 years of commercial appraisal and consulting experience. He began his appraisal career in 1980 as a Deputy Property Valuation Administrator in Louisville, KY. True to his roots, David has remained involved in property tax issues, having participated both as the hearing officer and as a representative of the appellant. While he has appraised a wide spectrum of property types over his 40+ year career, Lodging and Special Purpose properties represent over 90% of assignments completed in the past decade. David has also been active in the review appraisal field for a variety of clients including lenders and attorneys. David is an MAI and AI-GRS designated member of the Appraisal Institute and was a past President of the Kentucky Chapter of the Appraisal Institute.
