David W. Boyd, MAI, Senior Managing Director
The Senior Managing Director of the Commercial Division has over 35 years of experience, the past 30 years in South Florida. David’s experience is extensive in scope and includes appraisals of all types of office, retail, industrial, commercial, hospitality, recreational, and agricultural properties. Over the last 25 years, David’s concentration has been the appraisal of residential (multi-family, single-family and mixed-use) development properties, providing market and feasibility studies and valuation. David is also involved with select eminent domain projects and litigation support and is qualified as an expert witness in numerous counties in Florida.
Stephen M. Schmidt, SRA, Senior Managing Director
The Senior Managing Director of the Residential Division has over 35 years of experience in the appraisal of residential properties. Steve engages in a wide variety of residential assignments and specializes in high-end waterfront, estate, and condominium properties. In Palm Beach County, Steve is known as an expert in the valuation of complex high-end residential properties with valuations up to $110,000,000. Since 1990, Steve has served as a Special Magistrate for Palm Beach County Clerk of the Circuit Court’s Value Adjustment Board and has provided expert witness testimony in Palm Beach and Broward counties.
William H. Brannum, Senior Managing Director
The Senior Managing director of the Eminent Domain Division has over 30 years of appraisal experience in this specialized area. Bill has extensive knowledge in diverse assignments for both the condemning authority as well as property owners. Properties appraised include but are not limited to vacant land, agricultural, industrial, commercial, single and multi-family, as well as powerline easements and pipeline corridors. Bill has completed over 65 eminent domain projects for various condemning authorities and has testified as an expert witness over 400 times in 20 counties throughout the State of Florida.
