Valbridge Property Advisors, North America’s largest independent commercial appraisal firm, offers an internship program for university undergraduate and graduate students. The summer program introduces students to the field of commercial real estate appraisal by offering hands-on learning opportunities and exposure to best practices and industry leaders within Valbridge’s nationwide offices.

Interns are part of a minimum six-week program at a minimum of six hours per day in their host office. Appraisers and support staff in each location work closely with the intern to give them exposure to the appraisal profession, various property types and methodologies of valuation, an understanding of training and career trajectories, and relevant industry organizations. Other program features include a weekly Lunch and Learn series with guest speakers on various topics in the field, a team-based capstone project done during the internship term, and a company-sponsored trip to meet the other internship program participants, Valbridge leaders, and do specialized tours and programming together. This is a paid internship.
