Job Brief

We are looking for a diligent Analyst to join our team. This position is a steppingstone to an appraiser position. The analyst works in our Pre-Production department conducting property research and setting up appraisal files. In the position, the analyst will be building skills necessary to advance to an appraiser role.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the preproduction of appraisals of real property or land for bank lending, property tax appeal, eminent domain, and other purposes
  • Gather property-level data
  • Verify tax and zoning information
  • Prepare exhibits for reports
  • Assist with updates to report templates
  • Update market information
  • Assist appraisers with property tours as needed

Job Brief

We are looking for a diligent Associate Appraiser to produce credible results for clients and other intended users. You will be responsible for analyzing, interpreting, and reporting on appraisal data.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare appraisals of real property or land for bank lending, property tax appeal, eminent domain, and other purposes
  • Evaluate properties to establish market values using internal and external sources
  • Conduct property tours and interview market participants
  • Manage a backlog of assignments to keep several priorities on schedule
  • Prepare reports that fully explain results and outline methods used
  • Keep abreast with all current regulations, standards, and best practices

Duties

  • Prepare appraisals of a variety of commercial properties or land for bank lending, property tax appeal, eminent domain, and other purposes
  • Lead the appraisal process in collaboration with a Managing Director
  • Evaluate properties to establish market values and property ratings using internal and external sources
  • Conduct property tours and interview market participants

Requirements

  • 1+ year proven working experience as a Real Estate Appraiser
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office and ARGUS, CoStar, LoopNet, and other relevant software preferred
  • Familiarity with all current industry’s regulations, rules, and standards
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Minnesota Trainee license required
  • Desire to earn the MAI designation is preferred
  • Successful candidates will have strong attention to detail, strong self-motivation, and the ability to work and solve problems independently
